Glucophage and a missed period

Hello, I have PCOS and recently found out that I am insulin resistant. I was prescribed glucophage at the end of March and my Endo. had me start off slowly, at 500 mg and work my way up to 2000 mg per day. In April I got my period without the help of any herbs or provera. So, naturally I expected that for the month of May I would get my peroid, I should have gotten it around the 23rd of May but, nothing yet. I don't believe that I'm pregnant because a few weeks ago I was having very severe pain in my lower left stomach and I thought that it was possible that I could be pregnant so I went to emergency just to find out what was going on and a preg. test came back neg. So my question is, is there anyone else who is on Met or Glucophage who has missed a period? If so what should I do? I have an appt with a new OBGYN on June 19th and I plan to give her my entire medical history. Help!! Thanks.
