Yes that is high insulin and this a big sign of pcos. It's good your glucose is normal. The metformin should be able to balance your insulin. Be careful how you start to take metformin. Many doctors seem to be neglecting to tell their patients that you must start slowly. With one pill a day the 1st week and 2 pills the next and so on. That way you avoid the nasty side effects. While met is not a miracle cure, it has helped many to feel better and some to lose weight. You should almost never eat sugar and just stick to healthy high fiber carbs and you will most likely lose weight. Your diet and met dosage can be adjusted until you see the results you want. Stick with it, it can take months to see results. good luck .
