That's why I said "if it happens to work for you" because it is not guaranteed to work for everyone. My RE told me the ALMOST same thing. He said that Met was successful with many women and did induce ovulation in them (as well as periods). He said that in some patients it happened in a couple of months, while in others it took up to 8 months, and with others, it did not happen at all... So, I get the feeling that it is a very individual thing, and it may depend on how closely one's infertility is tied to one's insulin resistance. (for some it is more so than for others, hence the varying effects of Met).

Clara - When my OB/GYN put me Met she told me that it would not guarentee ovulation...It will enforse periods but not ovulation.... Amy
