Tamm--

Hang in there and definetely take the med. slowly. I had the same problems (now been on met about 3 months) and called my MD. We reduced the dosage and slowy rebuilt to the higher dosage. Every body adjust to the medicine at a different pace. I surely thought I was dying when I first started--I had all the symptoms~

Suggestions--take medicine at night with low carb high protein meal. Carbs seem to accerbate the stomach problems. Taking it at night, minimizes the symptoms (your asleep and won't notice--it really works).

Drink a glass of milk before you take the pill--it really helps coat the stomach. NEVER take on an empty stomach.

Change your diet to a high protein, low carb --loaded with veggies and fruits and increase excerise. Time does improve the problems and in about 2-3 months, you do start to feel better.

Take care >
