I have been on Glucophage since last October! The nausea and diarreaha do go away, but I agree with the other ladies about carbs. The side effects are worse - especially fast food! I always take mine right after I eat a meal. I am now on 850 mg with each meal. The side effects have been worse this time, as opposed to 500 mg with each meal. I was on 1500 mg/day for over 3 months, and the side effects comepletely disappeared. I am hoping that once my body adjusts to the 2550 mg/day, that the side effects will once again disappear.
