While I was on it my cycles where never as they should have been on the medication meaning that it should be very controlled and the doctor could not explain to me when I would bleed or an egg would release. For me I did not like it I always felt there was something else that was missing. >Good luck > >-- >Michelle > Hi - I have become pregnant with Gonal-F and IVF twice and miscarried twice. I was not on Met or anything else. for me Gonal-F was not enough to get good egg quality (as we could see it each day in the laboratory). No real side effects (much less than Clomid for example). It is pretty expensive. I had overstimulation once with it and created two large cysts. I used 2-3 per day for IVF, but only about 1 per day for the IUI process. Next time I plan to try after being on the Met or Avandia or other medication, also to reduce the testoterone levels and hopefully produce better eggs. Good Luck! Ruth ;-)
