alternative therapiesFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 12 May 2000 04:35:16 -0500 (CDT)
I'm from the UK and am just being diagnosed with PCOS. I'm 20 and at university so having a baby isn't a priority at the moment although hopefully I will someday. I am just fed up with having pelvic pain the whole time. I've been prescribed mefenamic acid but it makes me feel sick and faint, as does the pill, although I'm continuing with them. I wondered if anyone could recommend any alternative stuff to alleviate symptoms. All the things I've read here about diabetes etc don't seem to have arrived in the UK yet. Things like watching my weight aren't a problem as I am underweight with very low blood pressure.
