HELP! Can this cycle be saved???From: Elizabeth (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 3 May 2000 10:25:42 -0500 (CDT)
March was my first Follistim/IUI cycle and I responded well to 2 amps/day. At ovulation, my lining was 12, had 14 follicles ranging in size from 14-23. I did not hyperstim, but had two small (24&26mm) cysts which prevented us from trying again next cycle. I began Glucophage 5 weeks ago and have had no problems with it. My baseline u/s for this cycle was all clear and anxious to begin again. Not sure if it's because of the two cysts or because of the Glucophage, my RE reduced my Follistim to 1.5 amps/day. Today (day 9), my lining was 9.6, but I only had 4 follicles, ranging in size from 7 to 10 :( I'll have my E2 late this afternoon. My question.....do you think this cycle can be saved by increasing the Follistim? I have another problem in that I'm going out of town for my sister's graduation (can't not go) on day 17 of my cycle and hope that this can happen before then. Last month I o'd on day 14. Anyone have this happen? Your thoughts are appreciated!
