Re: Met and weight loss...possible without dieting?From: anonymous@obgyn.netSat, 29 Apr 2000 16:11:30 EDT
I have been on Met for a month and have lost over 10 lbs without doing a thing. My appetite has gone waaaaay down (thank God!) For the first time, I feel like a normal person - not always thinking about food! I certainly hope this is a permanent feature of taking Met. I am eating whatever I want, whenever I want - I just make sure I really want it and I pay attention to my God-given ability to discern what I really need. I haven't done a lick of exercise, although I want to get active by easing my way out of a sedentary lifestyle - not for weight control, but for fun and energy. These principles have helped so many lose weight. I am currently reading a book called Rising Above by Gwen Shamblin and it is through the use of the principles taught in those books along with Met that I have been able to lose a thing over the past few years. Vicky:)
