Met and weight loss...possible without dieting?From: Jennifer (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 27 Apr 2000 22:40:54 -0500 (CDT)
I have been on 500 and then 1000 Met for one month now and have noticed some changes. I have also had some of the delightful side effects (let's just say I don't stray too far from the bathrooms!) although that has been getting better. I have noticed a significant decrease in appetite and I feel that my clothes are getting looser. I have an appt with the doctor next Tuesday and will weigh in then to know for sure. However, I keep promising myself I will get back on Atkins or try the Carb Addicts, but I haven't done it yet. I know I will and can (did it for 6 months before without Met before my diagnosis and loved it) but haven't got the motivation yet. Is it possible I am losing some weight with Met ALONE? I want to do the diet and will, but wanted to know if anyone else out there has experienced this. Thanks in advance.
