Reply: anonymous@obgyn.net: "Re: Do medications for PCO help reverse baldness?" After having irregular periods since the age of 11, I was finally diagnosed on 4/24/00 with PCO by an Endo MD. Since last October my symptoms have gotten really bad. I get headaches everyday, my hair is really thinning out and I've been really depressed. I got the usual, "Oh, your probably just stressed out", but I knew something more was going on. I am now 25 yrs. old an I am wondering if I am going to go completely badly or what! My Endo MD wants to put me on Glucophage but my sister who is currently on it for Diabetes says it really messes up her stomach. My main concern right now is my hair, What are my options?
