Metformin forever??? I am currently only taking Provera every month to bring on a period. It is working. I feel better, but the weight is still piling on. Why? I don't eat alot. Why do you still gain weight? Anyway.... once you start taking Metformin do you have to take it forever. Are there any side effects when you stop taking the drug. Any information would definitely be helpful.
