I am on Orthotricyclin (spelling might be wrong) for birth control....and it actually helps the Glucophage. Ortho helps regulate the hormones (which helps reduce the some of the symtoms of PCOS)....the only problem I have is that my periods are very light. I still have them regularly, but they are lighter than when I do not take Ortho...I know that because I am currently not taking my birth control to see if my periods are regular without birth control. I have been on birth control for 6 years now and I have been taking Glucophage for 8 months and Aladactone for 2 1/2 years....my symtoms are fading (except the painful cysts in my ovaries) and I go in for my blood test Friday. I hope this helps you. Good Luck!
