I have had success with glucophage treating pcos. For the first time in my life I have had spontaneous periods and have seen a reduciton in the symptoms. I have been able to lose 25 pounds and am loving it. But I am wondering what woud happen if I began to take the birth control medicine, Loestrin (which is what I used to take to treat the symptoms and to generate menstruation)? Would it interfere with the glucophage? When I started the glucophage I was not sexually active but am currently in a relationship and am questioning various birth control options. Please let me know! Thank you!
