This thread is old, but to Teresa and her young daughter having migraines:

I was first diagnosed with PCOS at 30 (a little over 10 yrs ago). At that time, my treatment was birth control (Demulan). When I developed migraines, my doctor felt that they resulted from Estrogen withdrawal. Taking a small dose of Estinyl (.02) during the week of Estrogen withdrawal helped me a lot, though I am still very prone to migraines now even though I'm off the birth control due to elevated blood pressure (I take Provera to induce a period every other month).

I hope your daughter gets (or has gotten) resolution on her headaches!
