The other thing I would do is find a doctor who is informed about PCOS and its effects on your body. Are you seeing a general physician or a GYN? Ask your general for a referral. I did and she did the research to find the best doctor(s) in Austin for me to see that specialized in this. Good Luck!

Ask about Actos and/or Avandia. They both are insulin sensitizers and are being used for PCOS.
