Julie:
You may have already read my story - I too have children, so fertility
was not the issue anymore. I have had trouble finding a doctor in my
area that wanted to treat the problem instead of the symptoms. I
finally decided to go to Dr. Glueck in Cincinnati. It is 4 hours from
where I live, but I'm hoping that it will be worth the trip. I don't
know where you are, but do try to find a doctor. You can try your GYN
to see if you can get a referral. Even though you are not wanting to
get pregnant, I think that the RE might be the way to go. I will tell
you to pull things off of the internet before you go. Educate yourself
as much as possible because it was my experience that most doctors are
not up to date on PCOS. It is getting better, but there is still a long
way to go. The more you know, the better it will be for you. Dr.
Glueck has a great site with a lot of info. If you have not been there
yet, check it out:

Good luck to you - let us know how it goes!
