fear of diabetes

Lisa, the fear of diabetes is very strong for me (however, I still have a
lot of extra weight). As far as I know, I don't have a family history of
it, but as far as I know, the obesity didn't prevail in my parents families.
My dad has heart problems, and his father and my mom's mom died of cancer.
You know, before I was a parent, I didn't think about all this, but I
definitely want to be around to see my kids grow up, and I want to
participate fully in life, for a good long time.
