HI,
I have been on Metformin since the end of September. I started at
500/day and am now taking 2000/day.
Since January I have lost 15 lbs. I have been low-carbing, but not
really strictly, and I cheat on the weekends. I have not been going to
the gym regularly (too busy). My weight drops fast when I low carb and
don't cheat. I weighed 192 before it started going down, and now weigh
177. I want to lose about 20 lbs more. I have not had stomach problems
with Met for the past three weeks now. Before that I did. I think low
carbing on Met eliminates the digestive problems for me. I don't know
if the hair growth has slowed - it is hard to tell. I may have to try
spironolactone for that.
Different things work for different people. Good luck!
