Re: Metformin success storiesFrom: Carol (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 31 Mar 2000 08:05:05 -0600 (CST)
Hi,I have been on Met for about a month now. I have not had to many stomach problems on the Met once I learned not to take it on an empty stomach. I take 500 mgs with breakfast, usually a bowl of cereal, and 500 with dinner. I feel great. I was diagnosed with PCOS 20 years ago. Over the last month, things that have plagued me all of these years that I never connected with PCOS have vanished. I used to have headaches 3,4 days of the week that I blamed on allergies, GONE! Anxiety, lack of concentration, moodiness GONE! I had problems with my stomach every time I ate, GONE! I actually had less problems in that area after I started taking Met than before I was taking it. As for weight loss, I have lost about 5 pounds without trying. I used to crave chocolate. Not any more. I need to focus more on the diet part. I am looking into The Zone program. Thanks for letting me express my success with this drug to people who actually understand what I am talking about.
