One of the best things about Weigh Down is it seems that it makes eating a "non-issue" and that sounds like what I have been waiting for! I am sick of having to obsess over what I eat. I am definitely reading that book!

WD is simply a program where you eat what we've all considered to be "taboo" for years, but the key is moderation. The goal is to eat only when you feel real "stomach hunger" (rumbles, etc) and not when you "feel like it" or "just feel like it." Eating at those times is considered "head hunger." When you're eating because you're actually HUNGRY, you're more able to feel when you get full--not stuffed full--but politely "had enough full." When people follow this, they find themselves eating anywhere from 1/2 to 1/3 less food and lose weight. There is no feeling of starvation, and you get to learn how to listen to the cues your body gives--like what you want to eat and therein what your body is trying to gain (nutrient wise) through that meal. It's very nutritionally sound, and every doctor I've mentioned it to is exceptionally enthusiastic about it. They all call is "sound" and "sensible." >>
