>gets severe or last more than a week?) before I call my MD? I had gas problems too at 500 mg and 1000 mg, but they decreased although I don't know if they subside altogether. I would try halving my dose if the problems are real bad and keep at that amount for a week or two then increase after that. That way your body adjusts to the dosage. Another cause of gas is eating healthier foods like vegetables, so don't be surprised if you still have a little gas no matter what.
