Migraines and PCOS

I have a 22 yr.old daughter who has daily severe migraines. She was diagnosed with PCOS a yr. ago. The only treatment she has received is to take birth control pills continously. She has hot flashes along with all the other symptons of PCOS. She can not function most days because she is in a great deal of pain. Since PCOS is a hormonal imbalance, I wanted to know if the migraines and PCOS could be related? Also, is there anyone else out there with the same problem? Any info would be appreciated.
