Typically, yes. But my doctor has elected to continue it since the risks of not being on it are greater - for instance, mothers who have diabetes in pregnancy are much more likely to have children who develop diabetes. As well, discontinuing at a critical time would allow your body to be uncontrolled hormonally at a time that you need hormone precision, hence the hig miscarraige rate for PCOSer's.
