Re: A question to the ladies who are taking AldactoneFrom: Kristy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 21 Mar 2000 11:29:47 -0800 (PST)
Anon, I used to take this medicine two years ago under the care of an endo, but I no longer see him, but when I did so I was taking it twice a day. The reasoning for taking it before 6 p.m. is so that it wouldn't keep you awake all night. I've not had the chance to talk to my ob/gyn about how she wants to handle my PCOS in addition to this medicine. I will have to talk to her about that real soon. That information about not taking it after 6 p.m. I got from a drugbook for the public and another lady with PCOS that takes it. Sorry that I don't remember what dosage she takes. Thanks for your help. Kristy :) Jacksonville, FL == http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/Falls/4659/kristyspage.html It's the little things that count: candy, flowers, finding an ob/gyn who will listen, and finding a cure for endometriosis, vulvodynia, and polycystic ovarian syndrome.
