Hello Girls,

I have been diagnosed with PCOS 9 years ago. I have gained probaby 80-90 pounds in this period of time. I have been on every diet you can think of. My greatest achievment was on the Dr. Adkins diet 2 years ago and lost 50 pounds in 3 months. I know that I must be on a low carb diet but I am so burnned out on this thing and that. You hear good and bad things on low carb high protein diets. I want to know how many carbs I can have to be safe and loose the weight! anyways to get back to my story I have since gained all the 50 pounds back and feel terrible!!!! I am either too stricked or too leniant. I want to find a diet I can live with the rest of my life but am having a hard time. I think Dr. Adkins is way to stricked!! Only 20 grams of carbs a day "give me a break!!" I guess I am so frustrated in being overweight not having a normal cycle and can not get pregnant. I am on 500 mg of glucophage a day I was hoping this was going to help me with my appetite but it has not. I was wondering if anyone out there could tell me what diet they are following and if they are having any luck on it?? Thanks agin for the support!!
