Thank you > >-- >Donna > Dear Donna, hello :O) i have been on glucophage for a little over 2 weeks with good results... stand forewarned, however, if you do not take it with food! yr stomach WILL be upset :O( the glucophage shouldn't cause a hypoglycemic reaction- it is supposed to make yr insulin work better by getting to yr cells properly instead of staying in the bloodstream then passing out through yr urine... maybe yr not eating enough food with it? i know that i have had to work on my eating habits since met therapy! and i have a hard time eating as it is- the met at first reduced my appetite... i am increasing soon to 1000 mg from 500 mg and will see what happens.. i hope that you are well! love, belle
