Could these pills be making my weight loss more difficult? The AVERAGE wt gain with Avandia is 30 lbs per year. I told my doctor I would not take it because of that. I then went on sugarbusters and reduced Hbac1 test from 7.5 to 6.1 in one year. My trigicerides from 400 to 195. If I had continued the medicine I am sure it would have gotten all the credit.
