Diagnosed with PCOS

Hi All,

I have been diagnosed with PCOS for as long as I can remember. I just turned 27 and am realizing that it's about time to really find a solution to this syndrome :D

I have seen and endocrinologist and an ob-gyne and after going through all the hormone tests and insulin tests - they said everything is normal. I am not overweight but have severe cystic acne. I am not trying to fix things myself - but at the moment I have no choice. My ob-gyne said she can help me get pregnant - but that's really not what I need now (being that I am single). I just need to fix my PCOS so that hopefully I can finally get rid of my acne.

Will going on a low-carb diet and exercise really help - even if I am not insulin resistant and not overweight? I have a pear shaped body though - is that a sign?
