Previous message: erin: "Re: Losing Weight" Dear Doctor I had recurrent Urinary tract infection 2weeks back.doctor prescribed levofloxacin once a day for 10days.I took it for 10days.After that the doctor told me levofloxacin is not sensitive to urine culture and she again prescribed Bactrim DS twice daily for 10days...As we were not planning pregnancy, I took it..8days after use,I missed my periods which are usually very accurate(28day cycles).I have stopped the drug after 8th day.That might mean I may have took the drug 2or 3 days after fertilization and continued until may be 12th or 13th day.But I am very much worried about the teratogenicity ...What is the percentage of congenital malformation with Bactrim in very early pregnancy?
