Re: BreakfastFrom: Nada (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 8 Sep 2003 21:33:00 -0500 (CDT)
I solved this little problem by realizing I don't have to eat only breakfast food for breakfast. How about a couple ounces of turkey lunch meat or roast beef in a lettuce roll up, maybe with a slice of cheese in it? Heck, you can even eat a tossed salad for breakfast. Or a can of tuna. A handful of walnuts, maybe. (I'm sort of new at this and I'm not attempting to be really strict about totally low carb, so I don't know if walnuts are allowed or not if you are doing low carb.) How about cottage cheese? I rather fond of a cup of cold blanched green beans, actually, in the morning. My Dad eats breaded (not batter dipped) frozen fish portions for breakfast. I haven't tried that one yet, though, but I don't know why not, as long as they're only lightly breaded
