Re: Genital bumps

Genital warts often won't be picked up on a pap though sometimes an "abnormal" pap ends up being HPV (the virus that causes the warts). They are generally found via physical exam. They are often missed by doctors as they are small and often not highly visible. I would bring these bumps to your doctor's attention. They could be a kind of harmless cyst that can happen in your sweat glands. But if they are genital warts it is important to have them evaluated as they can, in a very small number of cases and over time (don't be alarmed), progress to several kinds of cancer.
