PCOS is alot more than just correcting feminine hormones.

Take her to an endocronologist or have your primary doctor check her blood for high testosterone levels, blood sugar, diabetes...etc

Most likely she has insulin resistance.

As for diets, basically you need to follow a diet for either "syndrome X" (go to borders or barnes and noble or amazon.com and look it up, most of the books on it are good but read some reviews and find something that works for you) or a diabetic if that is simpler--basically she sh0ould be eating no processed sugar and only whole grain breads, otherwise veggies & fruit and fresh stuff and protien are good.

:-D good luck
