Re: polycistic ovariesFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netTue, 19 Aug 2003 21:00:04 GMT
THere are several things you can try. First of all for the Synthetic route you can ask you doctor to put you on a "diabetic" medication that often helps women with pcos it is glucophage, or you could ask your doctor for somthing called progestin that is a faux progesterone depending on what you high and low in in your own endocrine system. The other things you can do naturaly are #1 there is a combo of five differnt vitamens that you can take to help balance it all out heres the list flax seed oil, papya enzyme, multi vitamin, somthing containing ephedra but only take one pill whatever the dose may prescribe and also chromium picolinate. That combo helps with weight loss and balancing out your hormones, I am not sure about pregnancy, for pregnancy I would suggest for the synthetic route, alot of women with pcos use somthing called clomed, I am not sure how to spell it, or you could go to the natural doctor, and ask for somthing called Kiflem it is a natural substance that helps get your sexual meridian back in order and to help get you to ovulate. Well, I hope this help=) Good luck. Jenn
