Re: LOoking for quick low-carb mealsFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netWed, 6 Aug 2003 19:34:55 GMT
Hi Connie, this is in reply to low carb meals. I just wanted to let you know that, if you go to the organic section of the supermarket, it is a little bit more but, they have all kinds of soy or whole wheat pastas and things of the sort. I try to do the low carb thing too but sometimes I like pasta or toast. Also in the organic section of the freezer part of the store they have somthing called Ezeakiel bread, it is made from all spouted grains that contain no starch. And it tastes great if you like whole wheat, you must keep it refridgerated though because it has no preservatives. One more thing if you are looking for low fat or no carb, they also make a cheese, if you like american, (I prefer chedder, but I like no fat!=) they have somthing called Smart Beat it is very low or no colesterol, and 0 fat. Also the I cant belive it is not butter spay contains 0 fat as well. I hope I have not board you and I hope that some of this information can be usefull to you. I have been studying nutrition for quite some time, and have all kinds of little things here and there. So please email with any more questions!=) Anytime!=) p.s I am not sure where you live but a few good grocery stores that you can go to are Ukrops, Fred Meyers, or Kroger. I have lived in the west coast and now I am on the east but Fred Meyers is the best for the West oh and Natures is the best on the west coast!=) Sincerly, Jennifer
