Hi there

I am 21 and was told 6 months ago that i had POCS, I went to the doctors in august last year thinking that i was pregnant as i hadnt had a period for 3 months and had sickness nearly everyday and weight gain. I was asked to take the test which came back unsure so i had to take a further 3 tests which 1 was positive and 2 negitive. I then got a bit worryed and asked what to do next i was booked in for an appointment the next week where i had a LOT of tests done for different things all of them were fine, so the doctor suggested that i stop taking the pill. I did stop still no periods i went back in december as i really felt unwell, i was tested again and again until in january they got a positive result. The doctor called my mobile and asked me to make an appointment, I did. The day before i turned 21 was the worst day of my life so far. I went in to the rrom where the doctor asked me to sit down this is normal. The doctor (a stand in as mine was off sick) said to me "Oh right i see that you have POCS you know that you will never be able to have kids okay is there anything else i can help you with" in the meantime i am sitting there very confused in tears not knowing whats going on. I went outside where my boyfriend and is friend were in the car waiting for me. I knocked on the window and collapsed in my boyfriends arms. The next day came and went and so did a few weeks i did nothing couldnt talk to hardly no-one couldnt bare to go to work or see my friends or family. In the time that i spent in the house i thing that it was 2 weeks i must have slept about 18 hours a day cause i didnt want anyone to see me i cryed myself to sleep everytime my head hit the pillow. Now it has been 30 weeks and 1 day since that doctor told me and i still dont have hardly any knowlage of whats going on. Im feeling better that i did but today im feeling not so good. If you could send me some information on the weight programme that you tryed cause i dont want to spend the next how many years feeling like this i just couldnt handle it.

Thank you

Jenni (21)
