Hi

I am 21 my name is Jenni  like yourself  Tara me and my boyfriend have also been trying to have a baby. My boyfriends little sister had a little girl just 3 days before i found out that i had POCS i was devistated i couldnt even look at the baby then to make things worse his big sister found out that she was having a baby also. I never spoke to anyone for about 2 weeks after i found out that i had POCS i cried until it hurt when the tears were coming out, I couldn't have sex as i felt that i had been cheated out of the thing that i would have given up my own life for (a baby). Now i have 2 lovely little nieces and cant get enough of them they are both very different in there own little way. I had no idea that i had POCS i actually thought that i was pregnant when i went to the doctors for the first time as i hadn't had a period for 3-4 months. The doctor done tests they all came back negative and it must have been 6-7 months the last time i had a period i went back to the doctors and refused to go home until he done every test that was possible as he put me not having my periods down to stress (im only 21 what's stress i used to say). I have now come to terms with what i have i am not happy (that's an understatement) but you have to come to terms with it my doctor said that i shouldn't give up hope and just to keep trying because one day it will happen it might be 3 months it might take 3 years but my time will come and i cant wait until my time is due. All i can say to you is keep your chin up and keep trying your time will come.

Jenni
