Hey Lori!!!
Greetings from the Lowcountry!! I work in Beaufort and I live in
Bluffton, SC. Know where that is? Really close to you. Maybe we can
meet up soon. I work in Beaufort as and interpreter for the deaf
children in Beaufort Elem. I have 2 children, daughter 9 and son 5. I
really started having trouble loosing weight after my son's birth. At
first I was loosing weight slowly and then I did a turn around and
starting gaining weight like speed of light :( . Although, I think that
I must have had PCOS in my teen years also, because I only had 2 periods
a year. But back then I mostly ate protein because that is what I
liked. If we had steak and baked potato I would eat all of my steak and
maybe take a couple of bites out of my potato. NOW....I want little
meat and give me carbs, carbs and more carbs. Plus, back then I was
very active, unlike now. However, two weeks ago I started lowering my
carb intake, starting eating 5 small meals a day and started riding my
bike. I have lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks. It is amazing how good that
feels. Yeah, it is only 6 pounds but it feels great. Sorry to be so
long winded. Hey, weather was great here today. We went out to the
beach all day. (I feel like my fat looks better tanned!heehee
How about a chat room for all of us? Is there one? I am so excited about
having all of you as an encouragement and hopefully I can be one to
someone.
