I have been drinking seltzer with lemon. I get the "orange seltzer" and squeeze a little lemon in it. It definitely improves the taste, and the lemon is an added bonus because it helps clear out your liver (I've been told). I am not sure about Splenda, but I have heard that aspartame (nutrasweet) also raises blood sugar, although not as much as sugar. I like crystal light too - different flavors, but it isn't as good as water.
