In February I started the Atkins diet. Two days later I ovulated by myself, 4 days later I started a 3 1/2 week period. I have not ovulated nor had a period on my own since. I told my doctor the only thing I have changed was my diet. Everything else has stayed the same. He said it's not the diet. I am not convinced. Since I am trying to get pregnant, I tried Clomid last month. Nothing. i didn't ovulate, nor has my period come. I am very discouraged. I called Atkins, they have no one to ask. They can't give advice over the phone. They just take your money and have no support or info to give out when you have questions. Am I going crazy? I thought that this diet would be good for me with PCOS. I would have rather not lost the 10 pounds and kept ovulating by myself. Mary P.S. I have gone off of Atkins for almost 8 weeks, and still nothing is having with my body.
