I have tried Splenda, and while it is made from sugar, it has a CHLORINE molecule attached to it. It gives me horrible, horrible headaches, as in they last for DAYS and are almost of migraine quality. So no Splenda for me.

I am interested in trying Stevia, though, since it is an herb and has natural sweetness.

Fructose can be an alternate sweetner but has as many carbs as sugar, so I just say "go for the real thing!!" and try to cut back on how much I eat in general.
