Glucophage and intestinal or uterine cramps?

I'm not sure which it is...I've been on glucophage for about a month now still having the occasional spending-lots-of-time-in-the-bathroom issues, but the cramps are something awful. I read online somewhere that the glucophage works with my body to encourage the cysts to break-up. Does anyone know if that's true? My friends think dissolving cysts might be causing the cramps. I don't think so, but whatever it is, it sure is painful. Has anyone experienced this and what did you do to help with the pain? Thanks, lionette
