> Hi, I have been diagnosed with PCOS for 16 years now. Last year I went to a doctor who put me on a diet called the European diet. It sounds a lot like the low carb diet. The diet consisted of no fried foods, no sugars, no breads, and diet sodas. In the mornings , I ate fruit, all that I wanted. At lunch, I ate a salad, or any cambell's soup ( not cream based ) At supper, I ate salad, anything I wanted, just as long as it wasn't fried, and only one regular helping. I could also snack on fat free snacks . The doctor told me to walk on a treadmill 30 minutes everyday, and add more exercises to it as I went. I lost 36 pounds slowly, I kept it off until recently, and have gained most of it back. I slacked off of my eating habits and execise. It's hard work, but worth it. If you want, I'll be you diet buddy if you have not found anyone yet.
