Advocare and finally got pregnant (MIA Update)From: Lauree (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 22 Apr 2003 03:59:39 -0500 (CDT)
Hello all. I have recieved a few emails in my aol account wanting to know about the Advocare. I will say this. I am shocked to see how Advocare has hit this message board since I posted in 2002. Not many knew about it back then and those that did condemed it. For 10yrs I tried to get pregnant and in the last 4 yrs of trying I was told it would not happen cause of the pcos. Well I am living proof that once you get the pcos under control you can concieve. I have a BEAUTIFUL baby girl(Danielle) that was c section delivered on December 8th 2002. I could not be happier. She is my new found life! But now I am back to square one with the weight and this time it is much harder to get rid of!!!! I have since had blood work done and all has come back NORMAL RANGE...go figure they alway say normal range. What is normal for some is not normal for all. But you can not argue with a nurse... I will wait to talk to my doctor. Anyway, I am not back on the Advocare but I am thinking. MY sister inlaw who sells it and has been on it since November of 2001 is skinny. Not that she was that heavy before but she is thin. The price is high for those that do not know about it. I became a distributor so that I can have the 20% off but that is a yearly $$ to do that too. So at the moment I am not on it again. But I will say this.......if you get it and are on it you still have to watch your carbs with the pcos...the vitamins are not going to control that for you. They will make you feel better, and help but not control anything unless you change your old eating habits and style of life. Take care Lauree
