Every time I have had test ran, everything comes back NORMAL. I've had all the medical test done know to diagnose PCOS They all come back normal. (hormones, thyroid, sugar levels..etc.) I"ve tried drugs, diets, herbs everything and nothing is working. Has anyone else had this problem? >Tarie
-- Tarie, You said your tests all come back in the normal range, but what is your LH/FSH ratio? My levels for both those hormones were also in the normal range on tests, but the ratio was 3.3 to 1, rather than the 1 to 1 found in non-PCOS women. My doc said the levels themselves can be in the normal range, but the ratio is what they use to determine if it's a sign of PCOS. I'm newly diagnosed with PCOS and not an expert by any means, but that is my understanding.
