hi jen,

i'm 21, and was recently diagnosed as well, i'm also trying to lose weight, i lost 30lbs at first but have gained 10 of it back in the last 3wks. if anyone has any ideas. i know that if you cut out the sugar (candy, cookies, icecream, alcohol) and cut back a lot on carbs (bread, potatoes) it helps, but its not fun, really hard, and you seriously have to stick to it. also if you work out on a regular basis like cardio or yoga it really helps. if anyone else has any ideas it would be such a big help, its frustrating to be trying so hard and never know if your going to lose or gain.
