Hi Michele - I follow the PCOS Diet as written in the book, The PCOS Diet Book by Colette Harris. You can find it on Amazon and maybe your library would have it or could get it by inter-library loan. The basic message is lean protein at every meal, 5-8 servings each day of fruits and veggies, and non-refined carbs. Refined carbs are basically "white" - white sugar, white flour, white rice, etc. I have lost 30 lbs since early December. I also take Glucophage XR 1500 mg daily. More than any weight loss issue, I FEEL so much better when I eat according to this diet. Feel free to catch me on AOL-IM anytime you find me.
