ARIZONA I'm excited to announce the first PCOSupport meeting in Tucson, Arizona! When: Saturday March 8th at 1pm Where: Amber Lights at 6231 N Montebella Rd Directions: From I10, take the Orange Grove exit east, pass La Cholla Blvd, turn right at Montebella Rd - if you hit La Canada Dr you've gone to far - take Montebella all the way around and you will see Amber Lights on the left. Go into the main entrance. If you would like additional directions you can reach them at 520-498-0668. Ashley, one of our members who has been able to make it up from Tucson for the Phoenix meetings, will be meeting you there. Thank you to those who have been willing to help arrange the meeting in the Tucson area! NEW YORK The NYC Metro Chapter of the PCOSA will be hosting our next event on Thursday, March 13th from 6-8pm at The Olive Leaf Wholeness Center 145 E. 23rd St. NY, NY. We are excited to welcome Dr. Steven Spandorfer, a top NYC Reproductive Endocrinologist who is also a PCOSA Professional Member. Dr. Spandorfer will be leading a discussion regarding Infertiity and PCOS. Additional information regarding Dr. Spandorfer and his presentation wil be forthcoming within the next few days. Rochelle Rice,MA, PCOS Lifestyle Specialist, will kick off our evening with some mind-body work as well as a breathing meditation. Rochelle will also be available to answer questions regarding lifestyle interventions for PCOS, including exercise, mind-body connection, and treating the whole woman. There will also be information available regarding the PCOS Wellness Program and the PCOS Wellness Summer Retreat for August 2003. Please RSVP to nycmetro@pcosupport.org no later than Tuesday, March 11th. We are anticipating a large turnout for this event, so please RSVP early to reserve your space. I would also ask that if you do RSVP and then decide not to attend, to please let me know at least one day prior to the event. A donation of $10 is suggested to help cover costs of this event and to help fund future activities of our Chapter. We look forward to seeing you-this is sure to be a very informative evening!
