Heidi,

I was just put on metformin due to the same reasons plus I do want to have a baby. My doctor has me on 1 pill for this week, next week I go to 2 pills and so on up to 4 pills a day. Have you noticed any side affects? The first two days I had diarrah really bad. Do you have to stay on the meds the rest of your life
