NEW YORK

Our next event will be Friday, Feb. 21st from 6-8 pm at The Olive Leaf Wholeness Center. 145 E 23rd St. Between Lexington and Third Avenues.

Please join us in welcoming Randi Cecchine and Meredith Miller. Both are fellow cysters and each on their own special mission to provide support and education to women all over who are dealing with PCOS. Please refer to their Intros below.

Please RSVP via email no later than Tuesday Feb. 18th so I can give an accurate head count to The Olive Leaf.

Donation of $10 is suggested to help cover costs of the event and operating expenses of our local Chapter. This is suggested, but not required for attendance.

Randi Cecchine will be screening and discussing her 40 minute documentary "Scrambled; A Journey Through Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome", a very personal view of living with PCOS. For more information about Scrambled or to order a copy of the video visit http://www.scrambledthewebsite.com.

Meredith Miller, a graduate student in photography at Yale University, will present her recent work, portraits of women with PCOS. Since June 2002, she has photographed women with PCOS whom she met through chapters of PCOSA in Massachusetts and New York as well as online. Meredith struggles with PCOS herself, especially with the irony of feeling feminine and masculine at the same time. However, as her work evolved she discovered that women with PCOS present themselves to the world in a very feminine way whether through appearance, body language, and their domestic surroundings.

If you have questions or to RSVP, please send an email to NYCMetro@pcosupport.org
